As one of the fastest-growing service companies in Australia, our client had 3000+ trucks that were used for transportation. Our client had internal and external compliance requirements that need to be adhered to such as license and registration of assets, training, and license for drivers, vehicle preventive, and corrective maintenance. It was important for our client to ensure compliance with these activities and have visibility of compliance of these activities on a daily basis to provide customer service, reduce vehicle downtime, improve driver safety, and avoid non-compliance penalization by the transport authority.

Our Approach
DTG Business Intelligence Team consisting of business analysts, data architects, and data integration specialists conducted workshops with the stakeholders involved in fleet management and defined the standards for fleet and driver assessment and monitoring to gather user requirements. The team envisaged a multi-dimensional Datawarehouse that is automatically refreshed with data from multiple systems such as ERP, Health Safety and Environment (HSE), Employee Payroll, and Employee Training & Assessment as the users need an interactive interface that can be sliced and diced across the organization showcasing improving or worsening compliance across various metrics and ability to take proactive measures to ensure compliance.
